About Us

Oakland Puzzle Company is a community-centered and mission-driven jigsaw puzzle manufacturer crafting puzzles in a small factory in the Eastlake neighborhood of Oakland. We work with local artists and organizations to make puzzles and promote their work. We focus on high-quality puzzles, a local supply chain, and supporting other small, ethical businesses.

Our History

Dave and DeAnna Tibbs are multi-generational Bay Area residents who love Oakland. They worked for several years researching and planning the production of jigsaw puzzles in an effort to create the highest quality puzzles and an ethical and sustainable business.

We are grateful for the start-up support provided by Kevin Poorman, Larry Tessler, and Community Printers.

 

We are operating on unceded Ohlone land and encourage all to learn about Shuumi Land Tax and the rematriation of land in the East Bay.
