Why our puzzles sell

The art is real and local, the materials are clean, the quality is good and the puzzles tell a story of the artist and the art. 

Every puzzle features original artwork from independent Bay Area artists. All chipboard is 100% recycled. Printing is FSC-certified, and all puzzle are packed in a reusable bag. In addition to making puzzles in Oakland, we partner with an overseas manufacturer to support demand and offer a wider range of sizes.

How we choose stockists

We keep our stockist list short so the stores that commit to us aren't competing with neighbors. Some areas are at capacity. When that's the case we'll tell you up front and offer a spot on the waitlist, with first call when a territory opens.

We look for established shops with at least a year of operation and a storefront. It is important to us that our puzzles land where they will sell well, and that means a product mix that complements our puzzles, and locations where customers are likely to buy them.

No order forms, no emails back and forth. Approved stockists get a wholesale account on our site. Sign in, see your pricing, place your order, done. You'll get the same order confirmations and tracking our retail customers do.

General

A: Our 300 and 500-piece chipboard puzzles are manufactured in Oakland using eco-friendly and ethically sourced materials. We work with a a worker-owned union print shop in Santa Cruz, CA. We partner with local and overseas manufacturers to offer a wider variety of material types, price points, and puzzle sizes.
A: We use chipboard made from 100% recycled material in a zero waste facility. Our printing is done locally by an FSC certified worker-owned cooperative using soy-based inks. We avoid single use plastics by not using shrink wrap. Each puzzle comes in a recyclable box with a reusable bag.

Wholesale Orders

A: We supply puzzles to bookstores, museum gift shops, general stores, toy shops, and other specialty retailers.
A: Our minimum wholesale order is a  mixed case of 12.

A: Yes. Approved retailers receive access to our wholesale catalog and pricing, with net terms available upon request.
