About the Puzzle

Send a piece of the Golden State from your table with the Greetings from California Puzzle.

Based on a vintage large-letter postcard, this 500-piece puzzle celebrates iconic California landmarks and natural wonders, from brilliant poppies and giant redwoods to Yosemite Falls, and golden coastlines.

With bold colors, retro typography, and scenic illustrations, this puzzle captures the spirit of California travel nostalgia, making it a great gift, keepsake, or wall-worthy art once complete.

About the Image:

The iconic “Greetings from California” design is inspired by vintage postcards originally made famous by Curt Teich, a German-American publisher who helped popularize large-letter postcards in the early 20th century.

Teich’s offset printing innovations revolutionized the postcard industry in the U.S. after his 1904 visit to Germany. Though his company closed in 1978, his archive of over 360,000 postcards and related materials now lives at the Newberry Library in Chicago—forming the largest public postcard collection in the United States.
