About It’s Your Move
This independent game store was established in June 2003 and celebrates 20 years of serving the Temescal community with the release of this puzzle. It’s Your Move sells board, card, and roleplaying games, puzzles, game accessories, and used and vintage games.
It’s Your Move is a community-centered business, providing open tables and a large library of board games, enabling locals to hang out and play all day. Events and lessons are paramount here including dedicated times for Magic: the Gathering, RPG, board games, chess, and Scrabble. On Saturday nights, the store transforms to feature Critical Hit Comedy, Oakland’s longest-running independent comedy show. It’s Your Move partners with schools, libraries, festivals, and businesses to bring the joy of gaming to the wider community outside of their brick-and-mortar store.
