About Rocket Dog Rescue
Rocket Dog has saved more than 15,000 dogs since 2001. In a journey of recovery from homelessness and addiction, Rocket Dog founder Pali Boucher became inspired by her dog Leadbelly to start her own non-profit. Rocket Dog Rescue’s ultimate goal is to create a world where all companion animals have loving and permanent homes and where no good natured dogs, no matter what their age, are killed in shelters because they are considered to be surplus or un-adoptable. Pali received the 2001 Points of Light Award for outstanding volunteerism.
