About the Image
This scene features 16 species who make their home in and around the waters of San Francisco Bay and its vast watershed. Many of these creatures, from the spring-run Chinook salmon near the Delta to the Orca whale passing by the Golden Gate, are harmed by threats like pollution, dredging, and climate change. This image is a reminder of what we stand to lose if we don’t fight for water and the environment—and why, with the help of supporters like you, Baykeeper remains the Bay’s fiercest defender. About San Francisco Baykeeper
San Francisco Baykeeper defends the Bay and its watershed from the biggest threats. Since 1989, they’ve patrolled the Bay for pollution, held polluters and government agencies accountable, and fought for healthy communities, fish, and wildlife. Their investigators, scientists, and lawyers have a winning track record for the Bay and for you and future generations.
