About the Puzzle
This colorful illustration, created by local artist Ting Li, brings the whimsy of the nation's first cat cafe to life. Cats frolic among miniature versions of iconic Oakland buildings, such as the Tribune Tower, Federal building, and City Hall — all inspired by Cat Town, home of the nation’s first cat cafe.
About the Organization: Cat Town

Cat Town is an Oakland-based nonprofit organization with a focus on saving cats who struggle to get adopted from a shelter setting. Their rescue work finds loving homes for elderly, frightened, stressed, sick, and injured cats. Cat Town made history by opening America’s first cat cafe in 2014. Their approach to cat rescue proves these overlooked cats are highly adoptable, and their approach has been shared with other rescues across the country, helping transform what's possible for vulnerable cats. Learn more on the Cat Town website.
