About the Artist: Susana Sanchez-Young

Susana Sanchez-Young is a multifaceted visual journalist, designer, and illustrator based in the East Bay. She’s the founder of The Designing Chica, a creative brand known for joyful, bilingual designs rooted in her Chicana identity and pop culture influences.

Her work spans:

  • Editorial illustration and design
  • Cultural murals, stickers, and home decor
